Request for Comments

The Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF), Division of Economic and Employment Services, LIEAP Program announces that they are seeking comment on their proposed state plan submission for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program provides funding to low income households in Kansas requiring assistance with their utility bills. The 2022 Federal State Plan for this program requires that the opportunity for public comment be provided. A virtual meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 to provide the opportunity to comment on the draft plan. The state plan is available for public review and comment. Requests for a copy of the state plan for review may be made via email to Lewis.Kimsey@ks.gov. Comments will be accepted through August 28, 2021.
